Highlands Weather
A common misconception about the Scottish Highlands is that the climate is typically wet and cold as is the case in other Scottish regions. While it's true that the west coast of Scotland recieves more than the average annual rainfall in Scotland, the Highlands enjoy a relatively dry climate - preferable in that regard to that of New York or Chicago, for example.
