SEAN WARMS TO DUBAI CAREER MOVE

From the Scottish Highlands to the Pacific northwest and now the Middle East desert, Sean Gunn’s career learning curve continues to rise. He began 2017 at the leading golf resort at Bandon Dunes in Oregon and will welcome in the new year at the world-renowned Emirates Golf Club in Dubai. In between, he returned home to the internationally-renowned Castle Stuart Golf Links, near Inverness, which enjoyed its busiest ever year. HEADING HOME AFTER AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE – AND SEEING AN ALBATROSS

This year, Sean Gunn has temporarily left his operations job at Castle Stuart Golf Links to take up an internship at the renowned Bandon Dunes golf resort in Oregon as part of his career development. SNOW MAKES ME FEEL AT HOME IN THE US

This year, Sean Gunn has temporarily left his operations job at Castle Stuart Golf Links to take up an internship at the renowned Bandon Dunes golf resort in Oregon as part of his career development. In the first of a series of blogs on his new role, he describes swapping the Moray Firth for the Pacific coast. My initial thought on arrival at Bandon Dunes was that the place is extremely impressive. The resort has four 18-hole courses and a 13-hole par 3 course. All four courses have recently been placed comfortably in the Top 100 in North America and to have them all on the same property...

Sean has worked at the internationally-renowned Castle Stuart for three years, having gained a Diploma in Sports Coaching and a BA in Sports Management at Inverness College, part of the University of the Highlands and Islands. To...
