Castle Stuart Pitches In To Help Club Re-Use Scheme

Is the relationship over? Maybe you don’t go out together as much as before. Or perhaps you spend too much time with each other and a change is needed?

Whatever the reason for parting company with your golf clubs, don’t just throw them away or leave them lying gathering dust in the garage.

Castle Stuart is taking part in a pilot scheme that offers corporate members and visitors a chance to re-purpose those unwanted drivers, irons and putters.

We’ve teamed up with Garage2Green and the charity Blythswood Care, in the project which will re-cycle, where possible, old or discarded clubs.

Garage2Green is a free, dedicated golf club take-back and re-use service which ensures clubs that are no longer wanted don't go to waste.

Please bring in your unwanted clubs, or sets of clubs, and hand them to the Castle Stuart golf ops team. Feel free to tell your friends and family about this initiative as well. We have already had one uplift by Blythswood of golf clubs handed in by staff members.

The scheme is supported by Scottish Golf and pilot funding has come from the European Regional Development Fund, delivered through Zero Waste Scotland.
