This year’s Castle Stuart Local Open has again attracted a capacity field of more than 200 golfers.
Qualifying rounds for the eighth men’s championship, the traditional end-of-season event, will be taking place on Saturday, 3 and Sunday, 4 November. Each day will see 104 players teeing off over the famous links.
The 12 qualifiers will meet in the final on Saturday, 10 November, a week before the course closes until March 2019.
They will be attempting to win the title claimed by Loch Ness Golf Club’s Gordon Grant in 2017.
The Local Open has grown steadily since being launched in 2011 for golfers living in the Highland postcode areas IV, KW and PH19 – PH41.
